What it is. Leadership Manifestos exist to ensure all leaders are on the same page. They provide guidelines for how leaders should go about leading and managing their people. They help managers understand where their development areas are, and what they will be measured against in the leadership space. They provide a unique and engaging team building exercise.
How it's delivered. Through an initial two hour workshop facilitated by Mel we get all of the information and ideas out on the table. In the week following the workshop Mel will draft an initial concept for the wording and visual components of the manifesto.
A second two hour workshop will then take place to discuss, refine and agree on the completed manifesto.
What the deliverable is. The final Manifesto will be delivered within two weeks of the date of the final two hour workshop. Mel will work with everyone to get their signature on the Manifesto, to show everyone has agreed. Mel will talk to the appropriate person in your business about how to weave it into leadership meetings and leadership performance reviews.
What it is important. Strong organisational values provide a clear guide on behaviour that you expect in your business. They make the role of leadership easier by having a clear guideline on "how" to do your work. They can make previously difficult to manage situations easier. They provide a steer on who to recruit, who to promote and how leaders should act.
How it's delivered. Delivered over an intensive one week engagement to define and present your organisational values. Mel will meet with groups of your team to uncover the values that already exist in your business. Then she will examine the strategy to determine what values need to be represented. Mel will table value themes for review. We will decide on specific wording and meet with the leadership team to review and sign off on these values.
What the deliverable is. Agreed values and supporting behaviours presented in a document. Values graphics ready to place around the workplace. A launch plan template provided for you to launch the values in your way.
