Know your values
Values are an important part of planning. Just as we take care with our organisational values, our personal values are no different. They are like a rudder that can help us make the best decisions for ourselves throughout the year.
To get to know your values ask yourself the following questions. Write notes without thinking about it too much.
Combine similar values. If some values seem less important remove or demote them. Rank your top 3-5 values. If necessary reword them so they reflect you fully.
Remember, values can change over time so repeat this every year or two.
